In 1940, Dr. Achille, after years of testing, created the Picco Rosso liqueur with the aim of reviving the spirits of the soldiers engaged in the Second World War. The two botanicals that characterize it are among the finest that the Dolomites area offers: raspberry and wild strawberry. To reach optimal organoleptic agreements, 22 months are needed between processing and aging.
Characterized by sparkling alpine and vigorously aromatic top notes; it evolves with hints of red fruit and licorice, ending with vanilla and sugary notese.
The taste of raspberries and wild strawberries delicately caress the tongue, bringing out a very aromatic velvety sweet component. During the tasting it releases all its personality and the intent of its inventor is revealed: to make this liqueur a motivator of the soul through an intense thermogenic sensation. On the finish, an extraordinary roundness and organoleptic coherence considerably reduces the perception of the actual 61 ° alcohol.
